Sights and Sounds: All Things Composition, Part I  (Exhibits (Museum, Gardens, ...))

Tour History Told Slant while hearing a sneak-peek of works by Martha Redbone, Meg Okura, and Pascal Le Boeuf, in advance of their world premieres on April 1, 2022. A special town hall-style panel discussion will follow. Looking to the future in classical music, historically driven by tradition, this discussion explores the celebration of identity in contemporary music, and how this intersects with trends in visual arts. Featuring cellist Dave Eggar and clarinetist Tasha Warren. Registration for this free event is required. Register here.

This event is part of the Chamber Music: Connecting Lines series and co-sponsored by MSU College of Music Running Start, Jazz, and Composition Departments. Continue the experience by attending Interconnected: Chamber Work Premieres at Murray Hall Friday, April 1, 2022.
